Making the transition from high school to college can be challenging.  Finding and making use of support systems and resources is essential for success!  Every college has multiple programs and resources to help students, and a good place to begin is with their student advisement centers.   These centers provide much more than academic advising. They connect you with other campus resources that provide the types of support you need and help you find ways to become involved and engaged in campus life.

To see the services college advisement/student support centers provide, click on the schools you are interested in attending.

If the college you are interested in attending is not one of those listed, go to the website for that college and do a search for advisement or student support services to see what is available there.

If you have special needs and need help making the transition to the college level, your school counselor can help connect you with college representatives who can help you find the supports you need to in order to be successful as you continue your education.
